Alice Caputo, born in 1989, is an Italian freelance photographer, currently based in Milan.

 

In 2011 she graduated in Photography from Libera Accademia di Belle Arti (LABA) of Brescia. She also attended a Master Course in Photojournalism at Agenzia Contrasto in 2012.

 

Alice has been working on a variety of reportages for national and international magazines, and has been collaborating with various media agencies. She is a resident of Talent Garden, the largest European co-working network. Alice is a member of TAU Visual (Italian professional photographers association).

 

In 2012 she documented the life of people from the Emilia region after a strong earthquake had struck their land. Her reportage was published by Itaca Edizioni in the book titled “Se anche la terra trema“, with stories written by Mattia Ferraresi, a journalist born in the Emilia region, currently a Foreign Correspondent in New York for the Italian newspaper Il Foglio.

 

Alice is a first prize winner of Sony World Photography Awards 2013 by World Photography Organization, in the professional “Lifestyle” category with her project “Summer Family“.

 

In 2013 she co-founded Ali & Met, a wedding photo-video firm, with the filmmaker and director Matteo Ricca. Ali & Met is based in Milan and Riccione, Italy.

Alice Caputo, classe 1989, è una fotografa freelance di base a Milano.

 

Nel 2011 si è laureata in Fotografia alla Libera Accademia di Belle Arti di Brescia (LABA). Nel 2012 ha frequentato il Corso di Alta Formazione in Fotogiornalismo dell’Agenzia Contrasto.

 

Ha realizzato reportage in Italia e all’estero per riviste internazionali e collabora stabilmente con diverse agenzie di comunicazione. È una dei residenti di Talent Garden, il più grande network di spazi di co-working in Europa, e socia dell’Associazione Nazionale Fotografi Professionisti TAU Visual.

 

Nel 2012 ha documentato la vita delle persone dell’Emilia, dopo il potente terremoto che aveva scosso la loro regione. Il suo reportage è stato pubblicato da Itaca Edizioni nel libro “Se anche la terra trema“, con racconti scritti da Mattia Ferraresi, giornalista emiliano e attuale corrispondente da New York per il quotidiano Il Foglio.

 

Nel 2013 ha vinto i Sony World Photography Awards indetti dalla World Photography Organization, ottenendo il primo premio nella categoria professionista “Lifestyle” con il suo progetto “Summer Family“.

 

Nel 2013 ha fondato, assieme al videomaker e regista Matteo Ricca, lo studio Ali & Met specializzato in fotografia e video di matrimonio. Ali & Met ha sede a Milano e Riccione.
